Does anyone know of a tutorial of how to set up OVR advanced settings (play space mover for vrchat mainly) on the HP Reverb G2 My friend has one and I was trying to help them set it up (but I have oculus so it’s a bit different for me) We couldn’t get it to work. Heres a list of some of the options, their defaults, and what they do. PlayspaceMover supports some basic physics Click here for a video. Control microphone as push-to-talk or push-to-mute via VR controller button. Control audio devices, volumes and mirror devices. Display several performance statistics and other statistics (e.g. Floor height fix, for knuckles and wands. If you would like to navigate to a full recalibration manually you can do so via the watch menu > Settings > Experience > choose Recalibrate Room. This should also buzz your watch and ask if you would like to do a full height recalibration as well. Hold down the start button to re-center your playspace. And before anyone says anything about Discord, I cant join the server because I do not use Discord which is why Im bringing this up here. Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. This will set the menu buttons to move your playspace, and if you press both grip buttons simultaneously it will reset your playspace Physics. Temporarily move and rotate the playspace. Recalibrating Playspace and Tracking on PSVR. Setting Up the Mover: To set up the Playspace Mover, you need to first ensure that your Oculus Quest 2 is set up and working properly. I followed every tutorial I could find but nothing helps. Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) ![]() My last option is wiping out my whole pc getting rid of all the files for steam VR so it can reboot its self. Ive tried reinstalling Playspace mover, OVR Advanced settings, and 00vrinputemulator multiple times and nothing. My steam VR version is 1.14.16 and I cant get it updating 1.15.2 either. So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) I cant seem to get my playspace mover working. If an HP employee contacts you on here, they will only ever ask for this information to be sent to an hp.com email address and never in private messages.Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD. If I try revert changes in the Playspace menu, it still doesnt bring me back to center. If I move myself too much, and then try to drag myself back to center, my StreamVR FREAKS out. ![]() Its fun in VRChat to be able to move about and resize my height, but Im having trouble. They are not and never will be needed on Reddit. Im still learning how to fully utilize the playspace mover in OVR Advanced Settings.
